Fairway Rewards ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Fairway Rewards mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Usage data: Rounds played, points earned, rewards redeemed, and food & beverage orders placed through the app.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens used to deliver order and reward notifications.
• Payment information: Food & beverage orders are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full card details — payment data is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Location (optional): If you grant permission, approximate location may be used to display relevant course information. We do not track or store your location history.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Fairway Rewards account
• Track and display your loyalty points and rewards
• Process food & beverage orders and send order status notifications
• Send push notifications related to your orders and rewards (you can opt out at any time in your device settings)
• Improve the performance and features of the app
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With your golf club: Your name, points balance, and order history may be visible to the golf club operators at courses you've joined, so they can fulfill orders and manage rewards.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Expo for push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The Fairway Rewards app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
